Geesh, been a pretty quite summer on this blog. Well, my new job is a
lot tougher than being XO on a FFG. I might have out grown all of the
paperwork, but the mental challenge of keeping a command ship's
communication systems up and running is a real pain. I guess if we had
the money pot from the 80's, it would be a breeze... we live under an
EXTREMELY tight budget these days. We'll just say technology isn't
always the easiest thing in the world. Sailors don't get the level of
training they did when I enlisted. If you want to read more about me, I
